Cryogenic Double Eccentric C-Ball Valve
Request a QuoteOverview
The no contact type rotary double eccentric C-Ball is designed to meet the most stringent requirements. As double vector movement, rotation, and translation, provided by the double eccentricity design allows for the valve to be opened and closed without any friction or wearing at the seat. The operating life is also extended on a valve-like this because of the “C-BALL” contact. 2XC™ does not have a dead cavity like a traditional ball valve. Meaning that there is never a risk of trapping overpressure and/or product in the body.

Features
- The unique design of the “C“ shaped ball eliminates the ball cavity and with it. In turn, lowering the inherent risk of any trapped product expanding and causing catastrophic valve failure. The valve seat is also fully encapsulated with stainless steel to safeguard against explosive failure.
- Lower emissions as a result of the ²XC torque seating design that eliminates dynamic seals and also has an ultra-low emission packing system that meets applicable regulatory requirements.
- Has a bidirectional valve that requires no venting, allowing streamlined pipe routing and fewer isolation valves. The ²XC also has a modern top entry design that is a third lighter than traditional ball valves.
- Upholds to API 6D, BS 6364, Shell DVT, and SIL 3 standards.
