JA Moody is thrilled to announce that we are now offering the best-in-class cryogenic ball valves to our marine clients through Advanced Engineering Valves (A.E.V. or A.E. Valves), a valve manufacturer located in Belgium and purchased by Emerson in 2018.
A.E.V. was formed to revolutionize the supply of valves to LNG terminals and LNG ships. Innovative products combined with 21st century engineering and design and modern manufacturing methods enable a new generation of best-in-class cryogenic ball valves.
This highly engineered ball valve offers a safer alternative with a bi-directional, cavity-free design that simplifies piping and increases reliability while offering unmatched shut off. The A.E.V. ball valve is torque seated and replaces older floating and trunnion technologies that rely on process pressure to seal.
A.E.V cryogenic ball valves have ABS, DNV and Bureau Veritas type approvals.
