Expanding Our Capabilities: JA Moody Enters Electrical Distribution
For decades, JA Moody has built its reputation by delivering high-reliability flow control solutions to the maritime and defense industries. From valves and actuators to complex flow system components, our mission has always been to support the systems that keep critical vessels operating safely and efficiently. Today, we are expanding that mission.
JA Moody is proud to announce our entry into electrical distribution, beginning with the addition of best-in-class lighting solutions from Phoenix Lighting. These durable products stand up to the harsh realities of maritime environments and are made in the USA. JA Moody is a stocking distributor for Phoenix Lighting.
A Natural Extension of Our Capabilities
Modern naval and maritime platforms depend on the seamless integration of mechanical, flow, and electrical systems. By adding electrical distribution to our portfolio, JA Moody is able to support a broader portion of these mission-critical systems with the same focus on quality, compliance, and technical expertise that has defined our flow control business.
This expansion allows our customers to work with a single trusted partner for a wider range of shipboard infrastructure—from the valves that control fluid systems to the lighting and electrical equipment that power safe and efficient operations.
Why Phoenix Lighting
To launch this new capability, JA Moody carefully selected a partner recognized across the maritime and defense sectors for performance and reliability. Phoenix Lighting products are engineered for the most demanding environments, including naval vessels, shipyards, and commercial marine.
Known for their durability, advanced optical performance, and compliance with rigorous military and marine standards, Phoenix Lighting fixtures are designed to operate where reliability is not optional. These products are already trusted aboard vessels and in shipyard environments where vibration resistance, corrosion protection, and long service life are essential.
By bringing Phoenix Lighting into our portfolio, JA Moody ensures that our customers gain access to industry-leading lighting technology backed by the same service and technical support they expect from our team.
While this marks a new chapter for JA Moody, our core commitment remains unchanged: deliver trusted products, provide expert support, and stand behind every solution we supply.
Our electrical distribution offering will grow thoughtfully over time, guided by the same principles that shaped our flow control business—careful partner selection, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the environments our customers operate in.
The addition of Phoenix Lighting is just the beginning.
