Overview

The Phoenix SturdiSignal™ Series is a modular, high-reliability LED navigation light designed to meet stringent international maritime requirements for vessels 20 meters and greater in length.

Durability & Maritime Engineering

Engineered for the harsh marine environment, the fixture features a seawater-resistant, marine-grade machined aluminum housing with a MIL-A-8625 Type 3 clear anodize finish. Its IP68-rated, modular design supports toolless maintenance at sea, which eliminates the need for an electrician to perform standard repairs.

Safety & Autonomous Monitoring

The system is built for mission-critical reliability with several advanced monitoring features:

Compliance Monitoring: Integrated sensors continuously monitor LED brightness to verify that the light remains COLREG compliant.
Automated Alerts: The system automatically notifies an alarm panel if the light becomes non-compliant or when it approaches the end of its 50,000-hour rated life.
Redundant Operation: Double-head configurations provide autonomous operation; the system alternates heads at startup to extend their life and automatically switches over if a head is flagged as non-compliant.

Compliance & Suitability

The series is suitable for inspected vessels of 20 meters and over, as well as blue water vessels of 50 meters and over.
