The Nu-Torque 14000 series actuators offer a compact unit designed to meet the requirements of the marine industry including Navy and Coast Guard vessels. The Model MSM is qualified to meet DOD-V-24657, the 14000 series configurations combines all of the features and capabilities in a very compact envelop. The high horsepower motor provides the needed torque and speed to operate larger gate valves. The hollow through shaft design allows for a low profile, low center of gravity mounting to all gate and globe valves. Cast housings provide superior protection from the most demanding shipboard locations. Bronze and steel gears, bronze and stainless steel shafts and hardware, resist marine corrosion. Individual compartments for each of the vital sections of the actuator reduce the risk of damage due to exposure of a compartment to the marine elements. 14000 Series actuators are compact and durable reducing the stress on valves where Navy High Shock and Vibration qualification is required.
MEM—Heavy-duty marine (COTS) configuration using cast aluminum housings to reduce weight and cost, yet providing a rugged assembly.
MIM—Semi Mil-Spec, compliant with DOD-V-24657, using a heavy-duty industrial motor built to IEEE-45 standards, provides long life at a reduced cost.
MSM—DOD-V-24657 with MIL-M-17059 or MIL-M-17060 sealed insulation system motor. Fully qualified for Navy shock, vibration, EMI and environmental requirements.
Non-intrusive configurations eliminate the need to open any of the compartments to connect, set or adjust position and torque settings and serial interface addresses.
